SHEPPARTON has received the royal treatment, with the grand opening of Crown Pizza and Kebab Restaurant, on Wyndham Street, Shepparton, on Saturday, May 16.
New owners Sayed and Zahra Ibrahimi have called Greater Shepparton home for the last 10 years, having relocated from Afghanistan. Working in hospitality, they bring with them a passion for the community and their new business that will tempt the taste buds of locals.
Crown’s menu has old favourites like kebabs, HSP, burgers and pizzas. They also have wonderful Afghan food, biryani, gozleme, gourmet pizzas, lasagna, Mediterranean-style fish, milkshakes, acai and much more.

The grand opening was a special day with Shepparton Police Liaison Officer Leigh Johnson, Kim O’Keeffe MP, GSCC Community Engagement Officer Mariola Nebiu, Community Advocate Zahra Haydarbig and many local Multicultural Community members attending.
“As a local Community Advocate previously at Greater Shepparton and recently at Greater Dandenong, I have known the family for decade who have come from a disadvantaged country they’re tireless local contributors like many other former refugees passionately contribute back to the estate’s economy,” said Community Advocate Zahra Haydarbig.
You can find Crown Pizza and Kebab Restaurant located at 2/465 Wyndham Street, Shepparton, between Cold Rock and KFC. They are open 10am to 10pm seven days a week.
