RUNNING the last Sunday of every month, Mooroopna Market has brought renewed enthusiasm to WB Ferrari Park, becoming a beloved community event offering family friendly activities, live music and a wide range of stalls and food trucks to explore since its creation two years ago, starting with just 40 stall holders including local Kiwanis, Lions and Rotary Clubs.
On Sunday, August 30, Mooroopna Market will celebrate its second birthday. Organiser Kara Beggs said the milestone event will have something for everyone, including the four-legged kind, as Mooroopna Market is a dog friendly market.

“We have had so much fun holding these markets in Mooroopna over the past two years for the local community and visitors to enjoy, it’s been a delight seeing the market grow over this time to now include more variety of food vendors spread across three food courts and unique stalls from different parts of Victoria,” she said.
“We have a lot planned for this market with Father’s Day sales from stall holders as well. This is a great opportunity for locals to explore gift ideas and find something unique for their dad or special person.”
Mooroopna Market returns to WB Ferrari Park, Mooroopna, Sunday, August 30, 9am to 1pm. Entry is free, cash is preferred, and the market is dog friendly.
Community and service groups are most welcome to attend, and anyone creative and unique is encouraged to join and showcase their creations.
