AFTER two decades behind the scenes creating the meals loved by literally thousands of members and guests, Jose and Tin Tin will hang up their aprons on Sunday, August 30, as they begin a well-earned retirement.

“The Shepparton RSL would like to sincerely thank Jose and Tin Tin for their incredible contribution, hard work and commitment to our club and members over the past two decades. Having worked seven days a week with just three days off each year, their dedication to the club has been extraordinary,” General Manager Grant Tarrant said.

Members and guests are encouraged to come in and enjoy their favourite dishes one more time before this much-loved chapter comes to an end.

While the club farewells Jose and Tin Tin, an exciting new chapter is about to begin. From Wednesday, September 2, Chris Lockhart and his team from Ascot Catering will take over the club’s kitchen and launch an entirely new menu.

An incredible amount of due diligence, along with a lot of taste testing, has gone into finding the right team to take on such an important role.

Chris has been busy putting together a menu featuring some seriously delicious options, including fresh salads, pasta dishes, burgers, classic bistro favourites and plenty more.

The new offering will also bring extended lunch and dinner hours, with a bar and meal menu available every day. From Thursday to Sunday, the menu will be available from noon until the bistro closes, providing all-day dining for members and guests.

The club says there are still a few surprises to be revealed, but one thing is certain an exciting new era is about to begin at the Shepparton RSL.
