CONSTRUCTION has started on the $205 million Parkers Grove estate in Shepparton’s southeast, with representatives from developer Goldfields, Greater Shepparton City Council and contractor Winslow gathering to turn the first sod on October 28. The former pear orchard site will deliver 650 housing lots for around 2,000 residents, with the development set to include road upgrades, parkland, walking trails and community amenities. The project is the first residential estate approved under the Shepparton Southeast Precinct Structure Plan.
