NEARLY two decades of dedication to customers, community and quality service have earned Mooroopna’s Talisman Menswear one of Greater Shepparton’s highest business honours.
Talisman Menswear was inducted into the Greater Shepparton Business Network (GSBN) Hall of Fame at the 29th Greater Shepparton Business Excellence Awards on Friday, October 23, recognising a business that has become a trusted and much beloved part of the Goulburn Valley community.
Hosted by GSBN and proudly presented by Shepparton Club Inc, the awards celebrated the achievements of the region’s business community across 16 categories, with the Hall of Fame Award reserved for businesses that have made a lasting impact.
Owned and operated by Paul Jerome, Talisman Menswear has built a strong reputation for helping generations of local men look and feel their best for life’s biggest occasions. From weddings and graduations to formals, anniversaries and milestone celebrations, the business has played a part in countless special moments throughout the region.
The Hall of Fame recognition also reflects the resilience that has helped Talisman Menswear thrive through challenging times. Like many local businesses, it successfully navigated the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2022 Mooroopna floods while continuing to support customers and the wider community.
The award acknowledges not only the longevity of the business, but also the relationships, trust and community spirit that have made Talisman Menswear one of Greater Shepparton’s most respected and enduring local success stories.
Mr Jerome said he was deeply humbled by the honour and proud to see Talisman Menswear join the ranks of the many respected businesses and business leaders who have previously been inducted into the GSBN Hall of Fame, describing the recognition as a special milestone in the business’s almost 20-year journey.
