FOLLOWING the success of the monthly Culture Corner series in the Maude Street Mall, Greater Shepparton City Council is excited to announce their newest monthly mall activation, Kids Space.
The launch of Kids Space will coincide with the first day of school holidays, with the activation to then take place on the third Saturday of each month.
Different activities will be featured each month, with an animal nursery and face painting taking place for the first Kids Space this Saturday, September 21, from 10am to 2pm.
The purpose of the new project is to provide fun free activities for kids and to enhance the shopping experience in the mall to create an exciting and entertaining atmosphere.
Greater Shepparton City Council’s place manager, Bonnie McIntosh encourages local parents and children to get involved in the new monthly activation.
“Kids Space will be a spot where families can come and interact and socialise and hang out with their friends,” she said.
“It will be a space local parents can entertain their children and get them outside and active.
“Kids Space will never be the same from month-to-month, so I encourage local families to keep an eye out for updates as to what they can expect.”
Starting this weekend, Kids Space will be held in the Maude Street Mall from 10am to 2pm and then will be continuing on the third Saturday of every month.
