Cats over 12 months of age will be available for a reduced adoption fee of $20. Drop into the Animal Shelter in Wanganui Road from 10am to 2pm to meet the newest member of your family. Potential cat owners do not need to make an appointment, just turn up during the specified time for a meet and greet.

Animal Shelter staff encourage people to check out the available cats online on the Council’s website at greatershepparton.com.au/animals-environment-and-waste/animals/animal-shelter/pet-adoption/pets-for-adoption to pick out their favourite furry feline friend. There is also an online pet adoption questionnaire which can be completed before you get to the Shelter which will save time on arrival.

All cats have been vet checked, desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and treated for worms and fleas. Please note that kittens under 12 months are not included in the $20 adoption fee.

Everyone who adopts a cat will enter the draw to win a $100 Cat Pack which includes lots of items to help your cat settle into their new home. For more information, visit Council’s website at the aforementioned link or call 5832 9700.
