A reminder for Neffy’s Walk-Let’s Talk!

BREAKING DOWN THE STIGMA AROUND SUICIDE IN THE NAME OF HEALING AND PREVENTION... Taking place on Saturday, April 29 at Victoria Park in Shepparton, Neffy’s Walk- Let’s Talk! is an opportunity for members of the community to take part in an all-important suicide prevention and awareness event.

With the aim of stamping-out the stigma associated with talking about suicide, fostering prevention and enabling families to heal, the event will feature a memorial candle walk for loved ones lost to suicide.

Proudly presented by Lifeline crisis support operator, Steve Neff, the walk is the first of its kind for Shepparton and will be supported on the night by Lifeline, Loddon Mallee crisis support operators.

Chaplains will also be on hand to listen and chat with participants as they need.

With all welcome, proceeds raised during the event will go towards the training of much needed crisis support telephone operators.
