WITH a new name and a refreshed outlook, the Greater Shepparton Business Network is ensuring all businesses in the Greater Shepparton region can thrive as it focuses on a new era of success.
Formerly known as the Shepparton Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the new name not only more accurately describes the geographical area that the Greater Shepparton Business Network (GSBN) is now focussed on but reflects a more modern era of businesses that operate across all Greater Shepparton, including Mooroopna and Tatura. And in a unique move, GSBN has joined forces with the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to provide the best support and resources to local businesses that they normally would not have easy access to.
The Victorian Chamber is the largest and most influential not-for-profit business organisation in Victoria, informing and supporting 65,000 members and clients from every sector and every region.
Greater Shepparton Business Network President, John Anderson said now is the perfect time to re-invent the organisation as it works to build a stronger business community that can thrive and prosper together.
“Everyone has had a tough couple of years living through the pandemic and our business community is no exception. It has given us time to reflect on the importance our organisation has in keeping businesses connected and assisting in supporting each other in what has been difficult circumstances,” Mr Anderson said.
“We now have this fantastic opportunity to enter into this partnership with the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry where our members can draw on the great services, programs, events and training that Victorian Chamber has to offer,” Mr Anderson said.
Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chief Executive, Paul Guerra said he is looking forward to working with not only GSBN, but all the businesses in Greater Shepparton.
