Following a successful information session on Sunday, December 1, the Australian Air League is pleased to advice that the Shepparton Squadron will commence operating with the first parade night at Shepparton Airport on Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 1900hr (7pm) to 2100hr (9pm).
The Australian Air League previously operated in the Shepparton area during the 1940s and 1950s and are pleased to be able to re-open the Squadron for the young boys and girls to learn about aviation.
The Squadron will meet at the Goulburn Valley Aero Club, who will be providing the use of their clubrooms, and the Greater Shepparton City Council will also provide use of the airport departure/arrival lounge for classes.
