Enhancing operational efficiency for over 40 years

WITH a well-established name in IT hardware, repair and managed services, Data Parts has been boosting productivity, ensuring seamless communication and enabling the flow of information for businesses and individuals alike for well over 40 years.

Adroit, patient and dedicated to providing IT solutions to individuals, businesses and organisations across a range of sectors, Data Parts also supplies a reputable array of computer hardware and parts, servers and accessories.

The business was established in 1981 by Kevin and Boyd Daiton. The late Adrian Jones started with them not long afterwards and purchased the business in 1983. Adrian’s commitment to excellence, integrity and customer satisfaction is carried forward today by business partner and Director, Sebastian Mangiameli, who oversees the business’s client portfolio with around 200 managed clients.

Keeping pace and adapting with the ever-evolving dynamics of the industry, Sebastian and his team of proficient technicians and staff assist clients with system setups, advice, technical support, data transfer and recovery.

“Our clients range from single users to organisations with nearly 60 users. We offer flexible support from fully managed service contracts where we handle everything end-to-end, to break-fix support for clients who only need us when something goes wrong. Depending on the situation, we provide remote assistance or visit on-site,” Sebastian said.

Problem-solving and empowering clients to maximise their technology effectively, Data Parts continues to welcome customers to its consultation desk by booked appointments. Focused on providing principled and practical advice, Sebastian said:

“We do repair computers where possible, depending on their age and whether it’s cost-effective. However, with many newer model devices, the right to repair is often restricted due to manufacturer design.”

When asked about Data Parts’ enduring success, despite the constantly shifting nature of the tech industry, Sebastian said:

“It’s about having someone approachable; someone you can talk to without being overwhelmed by technical jargon. Someone who listens and works to get things done for you. Our goal is always to make the client feel comfortable and supported, providing them with the right model, solution and/or advice to suit their unique needs.”
