The inaugural Shepparton Nations Cup concluded with an electrifying final that saw Australia edge out Iraq 3-2, drawing over 1000 passionate fans. The two-week football event, organised by Abbas Al-Najar, exceeded expectations, highlighting Shepparton’s vibrant football community. Players from diverse backgrounds competed, with a total of 10 teams representing different nations, competing. As the event concluded, Al-Najar assured fans that the Shepparton Nations Cup would return annually.
