Shepparton Golf Club’s premier function room, Fairways, is a charming reception centre located on the banks of the Goulburn River in north-west Shepparton.
The highlights of Fairways are its abundant natural light and breathtaking views of the rolling hills, and tree-lined fairways through to the floor-to-ceiling windows. The evening sunset is particularly stunning from this vantage point.
The Fairways lounge is beautifully designed and is complemented by ‘The Balcony’, which offers direct access between the two venues. The Balcony provides an ideal spot for welcoming guests with cocktails, while they enjoy views of the golf course and perhaps catch a glimpse of the bridal party during their photo shoot.
The Shepparton Golf Club offers various menu and beverage packages that can be tailored to suit the individual style of each couple’s special day. Fairways can accommodate up to 180 guests with circular dining tables adorned with elegant white linen tablecloths, napkins, and quality silverware, crockery, and glassware. For cocktail style receptions, up to 200 guests can be accommodated with more informal seating arrangements.
The club encourages couples to add their own personal touch to the wedding day by incorporating unique floral arrangements, table decorations, lolly buffets, and more. The catering team is ready to assist in planning and setting up these special arrangements. For the convenience of guests, the Shepparton Golf Club offers 12 motel rooms that overlook the serene 18th fairway, providing a peaceful environment for the guests to wake up to.
