What a year Greater Shepparton has had!
From the inaugural Illuminate Festival to White Night being hosted in Shepparton for the first time, our region has come alive following a tough few years.
Greater Shepparton is known for its innovation and creativity, and this has certainly been demonstrated over the past 12 months.
While we have faced our fair share of hardship across the region, as did all of Victoria, during this time our region proved how resilient it can be.
As we continue to work through this recovery phase, let’s ensure we continue to support businesses, families and community members.
Council will continue to work closely with business owners to support them and ensure their ongoing economic prosperity.
I look forward to seeing what our community can achieve in the coming year.
We hope to see some positive outcomes following the announcement of the 2026 Regional Victoria Commonwealth Games and the continued success of our events calendar.
I have no doubt we will continue to be the bold regional city we all know and love.
