IN THE past two years, since establishment, Shepparton’s own caravan brand ‘Donway’ has gone from strength to strength. 

The last 12 months has seen an increase in the range, with more floor plans to choose from and more features to enjoy, the brand has really hit its straps in 2021 despite challenges imposed by the pandemic, such as longer lead times. 

Manufactured on home soil, by long established Millard, Shepparton’s own name in caravans, Donway; is a brand that has quickly become as trusted as its founders Peter and Rhonda Don.

As a registered builder with deep roots ingrained in the Goulburn Valley; at 62 years young, Peter Don is still heavily involved in and still oversees all three of his businesses; Donway Caravans, PJ’s Concrete Pumping and PJ’s 4×4 Accessories, which designs and installs premium ute canopies.

The Donway workshop now features a six-tonne hoist to take care of caravan servicing, and a recently-established caravanning accessory showroom. 

“Caravanning has really experienced a boom since overseas travel no longer an option. People are wanting to explore our own backyard instead, and with that they’re keen to find alternative ways to explore the inexhaustible bounds of this huge country,” said Mr Don.

“We’re passionate about what we sell because we’ve designed it ourselves, and I think that shines through with our team and the people who have been a part of this journey,” he said.
