It is with great disappointment that the committee of the Dookie A&P show society have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Dookie Show, after considering the challenges presented by COVID19.
The Dookie show aims to provide an enjoyable, family friendly show and to ensure the safety of the community and its volunteers.
Regrettably, the committee felt that the many measures needed to ensure a safe environment would place too much pressure on volunteers and would compromise the ability to deliver a successful show.
This is the first time since World War 2 that the show has been cancelled.
