Dr Steve Capewell Managing director,Goulburn Valley Water

If there’s one word to define the Goulburn Valley region, it would be resilience.

No matter the challenges of the past two years, people remain optimistic and passionate.

We’ve witnessed these qualities during our extensive consultation in planning and visioning for our future.

We’re continuing our push to embed sustainability into our business, ramping up the second stage of our solar panel installation program and committing to meeting a target of net-zero carbon emissions by 2035.

We also put our customers at the centre of everything we do, as part of our commitment to delivering high quality services that serve to increase the liveability of our region.

Our aspirations to become a local leader are underpinned by our involvement in a consortium of high-performing, innovative water utilities. Goulburn Valley Water has been recognised as a Leading Utility of the World by the Global Water Leaders Group – one of a select few in Australia to be accepted.

I look forward to another successful year, which will see us again focus on continued growth, progression, and innovation in our region to contribute to making our region a great place to work and live.
