COMMUNITY drop-in sessions held by Council’s Flood Recovery team at Neighbourhood Houses in the district began this week and will continue until the end of June.
The sessions will be held between 9am and 3pm, to help community members access recovery services including case management services, financial counselling resources and mental health and wellbeing.
The meetings will also cover the Goulburn Broken Community Flood Intelligence Portal, which will help residents access and interpret their property flood reports.
“The Goulburn Broken Community Flood Intelligence Portal has been developed with the support of local councils to help improve the flood resilience of the community, property, infrastructure and environment,” said Joel Leister, Manager – Floodplain Implementation, Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority.
“The portal allows community members to view flood maps, search properties and create a flood property report which helps in understanding how expected river levels may impact their property or residence.”
