Excellence in Food & Agribusiness award will recognise outstanding achievements by a food and agribusiness business within Greater Shepparton that has demonstrated a commitment to innovation, excellence and business practices that seek to grow and shape the future of agribusiness in the region. Eligible businesses must be able to demonstrate they are engaged in substantially earning its revenue from agriculture. This includes, but is not limited to, farming, food processing, and manufacturing and/or distribution of agricultural products such as Regionally Grown produce (supply, sales, value adding), Dairy Producers, Livestock Producers, Aquaculture Producers, Wholesale food suppliers, Food Manufacturing and Farmers Markets.
