
THE state minister for Tourism, Natalie Suleyman, has announced that the Australian Fashion Festival is taking its runways, workshops and exhibitions to Bendigo and Shepparton for the first time.
Funded through the latest round of the State Government’s $38M Regional Events Fund, it will attract visitors from interstate and across Victoria, supporting businesses in and around Shepparton.
“For the first time, the Australian Fashion Festival is bringing its runways, workshops and exhibitions to Bendigo and Shepparton, giving regional Victorians a front-row seat to the best fashion in the country,” said Ms Suleyman.

The Regional Events Fund supports festivals, sporting events and art exhibitions that create local jobs, boost tourism and showcase Victoria’s regions.
It provides funding across events that promote tourism including:
Funding of up to $500,000 for major events of national or international significance.
Funding of up to $50,000 for events that draw visitors from across the state and country.
The Shepparton Fashion Series, featuring over 20 events, will take place from 3rd to 11th of October. Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes
