CEO, Rumbalara Aboriginal Co-operative
Rumbalara: a beacon of hope, resilience, and self-determination through place-based solutions.
As a proud Yorta Yorta woman, mother and grandmother, I am deeply humbled to lead Rumbalara Aboriginal Co-operative, it is a cultural calling and a privilege to serve past, present and future generations with honour and integrity.
At Rumbalara, we draw strength and wisdom from our Ancestors, who tirelessly preserved knowledge, language and traditions for us to carry forward. Their resilience and determination guide us as we nurture culture, safeguard spirit, and create pathways for the generations to come.
Guided self-determination principles, we deliver flexible, place-based solutions that go far beyond funded activities. Our commitment ensures the community is supported to celebrate identity while achieving stronger outcomes in many areas which include health, education, and family wellbeing. Every initiative is built on cultural strength and designed to empower people to thrive.

Rumbalara continues to be a proud and strong voice for Aboriginal rights across local, state and national levels. Our advocacy has contributed to greater awareness and meaningful policy change, positioning us as a leader in promoting equity, inclusion and justice.
I am extremely proud to lead a team whose passion, resilience, empathy and leadership shine through in everything they do. Over the past 12 months, we have grown our capacity to deliver vital mental health initiatives, strengthen preventative health programs, expand access to housing through Rumbalara Housing Limited, and further celebrate and uphold Aboriginal traditions and culture. As we look ahead, we remain committed to building on this progress, creating even greater opportunities for our community to thrive
We remain steadfast in our vision: to walk together with our people, honouring culture, amplifying community voices, and building a future defined by resilience, opportunity, and self-determination.
