Mr Varkey is a Shepparton local, he attended school locally before studying nursing at La Trobe University Shepparton.

Thus far, Mr Varkey has undertaken rotations in critical care and medical ward and will next be moving into dialysis, the foundations of a comprehensive nursing career.

“I really find the clinical experience of mixed presentations, and experiencing a diverse and mixed case load rewarding,” explained Mr Varkey.

“My experience at GV Health has been really good, they provide such a supportive, open and welcoming team environment.”

Mr Varkey is keenly aware of how vital it is for regional cities to have sufficient medical care, and he aspires to progress his nursing career locally with GV Health.”I’m passionate about giving back to the community that I grew up in and helping local people,” he said.

GV Health are so much more than a regional health service. They have a commitment to creating a welcoming and caring environment where their people feel safe, supported, respected and their career aspirations and development are encouraged.
