We are Shepparton through and through. In the early days there were only a handful of wineries, but now, since the growth of the wine industry over the last 30 years, we have over 40 local wineries and 350 to 400 wines to choose from.
Our business is the classic example of locals supporting locals. We are a local business initially with Don Phillips at the helm, and now me.
Our local wine industry is unique as we have grapes grown on the valley floor and also in the hills, which gives the wine makers great scope to make a range of varieties and styles. If I was asked what variety is produced best, its Shiraz for red wine and Riesling for white wine. So, please come in and see the huge range of local wines.
