SUNSHINE, school holidays, and eased restrictions have combined to create the perfect setting for some much-needed outdoor activities in Greater Shepparton, with families getting on board.
The Greater Shepparton City Council’s Activities in the Park program drew families to the water’s edge at Lake Victoria Park on Sunday, with Paddle Victoria running paddling sessions on the iconic lake.
The program, developed by Greater Shepparton City Council’s Active Living Department as part of the Get Mooving Greater Shepparton Initiative, offers a range of free or low-cost activities throughout the Greater Shepparton region, accessible for all abilities to take part in.
All sessions are delivered by local facilitators including sports clubs, businesses, community groups and state sporting associations. The program runs throughout Greater Shepparton annually from September through to April.
