BIG V basketball fans, get ready! This season will be super exciting with the arrival of two new international imports, Derek Murphy and Josh Kooiman. The duo are prepped and ready to take on the competition in the Big V 2023 season.
Murphy, a 6’5″ from the United States, brings a wealth of experience to the team, having played professionally in Europe for the past three years. Kooiman, a 6’1″ from New Zealand, is a dynamic player with a reputation for his quickness and agility on the court.

The Greater Shepparton Basketball Association (GSBA) has for the last 20 years, had local competition in both seniors and juniors across 7 clubs, squad junior teams competing across the state representing this region and a senior representative program. This has been a training ground for our elite athletes who are very much recognised at the State level.
Last Friday, the Ken Muston MG Shepparton Gators held their season launch and jersey presentation at Belcibo & Co, and a great night was had by all.
