
WITH heaps of fun activities on in Griffith for Easter, you should use the long weekend to explore the north-western part of the Riverina region, about three hours’ drive from Shepparton.
Good Friday morning (April 7) will see a fun run and walk on the lake suitable for all ages and Griffith Pioneer Park Museum’s ‘Action Day’, which has kid’s activities, market stalls, vintage machinery, demonstrations and entertainment, as well as food and beverages.
Griffith’s main street will be teeming with sales on Easter Sunday morning at the Banna Avenue Sidewalk Sale. Saturday afternoon, catch the Griffith Vintage Festival, featuring live music and local wine and food.

Returning Saturday is ‘Blood, Sweat & Beers’, Griffith’s first homebrew competition and independent craft beer festival. Run by Grainmother Brewing Supplies in the Griffith Community Gardens, it was a tremendous success in 2022.
Easter Sunday will celebrate wonderful wine and food. Explore producer and artisan markets at Piccolo Family Farm, grab a coffee, sample tasty food and enjoy live music. While there, be sure to visit their new Visitor Experience Centre and cellar door.
