Applications for Greater Shepparton Foundation’s Lift Off Education Scholarships for study in 2024 are now open!
The Lift Off Scholarship program welcomes applications for postgraduate studies, pathway studies and from students who have taken a gap year as well as Year 12 students wanting to continue to tertiary study.
Since 2014, Lift Off has supported 120 local students in post-secondary education by helping to overcome financial and other barriers to their education aspirations and achieving their full potential.
“Lift Off is having a life-changing impact on young people, financially supporting them with relocation costs, university fees, rent, school materials and providing a safety net between jobs. In fact, 100% of evaluation participants agreed Lift Off had positively influenced the trajectory of their life. 97% by supporting them to participate in their chosen course; 95% able to take advantage of opportunities not otherwise attainable. In addition, two-thirds reported feeling more confident, appreciated, and recognised, and better able to contribute to their community,” said Greater Shepparton Foundation CEO Amanda McCulloch.
