
THE GMCU $25,000 Giveaway is heating up with 10 new shoppers taking home a $250 Visa debit card, courtesy of GMCU.
So far, 33 prizes have been awarded from a record-breaking 58 available. Every shopper’s entry is eligible for the $5,000 grand prize, drawn at the end of the Giveaway.
Dean Pritchett shopped at North End Bakehouse. He said, “Not sure what I’ll spend it on yet but there are so many participating stores, I’m sure I will find something we need. It’s great news.”



Sandra Kent was doing her daily shop at Fairley’s IGA where she was drawn to win a $250 prize.
“No way, how exciting,” Sandra said. “I won’t have trouble spending it locally.”
Stacey Hodge won shopping at Stephens Jewellers. Stacey said, “Get out of town! So exciting, so cool. I can’t think of what I’ll buy but I’m so excited to have won.”
Liz Connick’s winning entry was at Evans Shoes. Liz said, “How wonderful. This competition is great for our community, it is so good for the businesses and the shoppers. Thank you. I always enter.”
Helen Reynolds’s winning entry was at Blizzards Fine Jewellers, and she said she would use the winnings to buy a new pair of pants and a necklace.
Other winners from Week 3 are: Joseph Kenneth Martin who shopped at SPC Factory Sales, Kathy Halloran who shopped at Europa Deli & Cafe, and Sue O’Sullivan who shopped at Ciaveralla’s Betta Home Living in Kyabram. The Adviser was still trying to contact two winners from this week to notify them of their win.
This week’s business winner is Trelly’s Outdoor.
