GMW chair steps down

THE chair of Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW), Joanne Anderson announced last week that she would be stepping down from her board role effective immediately.

Patrick McNamara, former Deputy Premier of Victoria, and the current deputy chair will be the acting chair and has a long history in the water sector.

Managing director, Pat Lennon said Jo has a great passion for GMW and its staff and thanked her for her time at GMW.

“Jo came into the business about two years ago, during which time GMW has recognised the need to face the challenges ahead of us in delivering affordable pricing for customers whilst ensuring GMW remains a sustainable business,” Pat said. “We wish Jo all the best for the future and thank her for her time working with us.”
