AFL superstar and local legend Josh Rachele from the Adelaide Crows visited St Anne’s College to meet and greet students as they donned their colours for Footy Day to end term three.

The students were treated to a highlights reel of Josh playing with the Adelaide Crows, before a Q&A session. He talked about growing up in Shepparton, playing soccer and how he fell into football. That led to his blistering first game, kicking five goals on debut against the Fremantle Football Club in the opening round of the 2022 season.

Signing autographs and graciously taking fan photos with the students, Josh electrified his younger audience, sharing his passion and dedication for sport with the children, and his gruelling health and fitness regime.

“I always love giving back to the community. I think it was important when I was a little kid. It’s something I aspired to be, so giving the kids some inspiration is always good,” said Josh.
