If I could turn back time

IT’S almost time to explain to your children why they have to go to bed when it’s still light outside and trudge to work bleary-eyed at an hour you may usually still be at home.

Conversely, we’ll get longer, warmer days, so it’s not all bad.

This Sunday, October 2, the clock goes back one hour at 2am, effectively giving you an extra hour of sleep.

Any analogue clocks, like that in your car or on the oven, will need to be changed manually. Most digital devices including phones, laptops, smart watches and digital clocks will update automatically after the clock ticks over to daylight saving time.
