THE future of the four-storey social housing development proposed to be built in the airspace surrounding Shepparton ACE Secondary College will be decided Tuesday, June 21, after The Adviser has gone to print.

The sale of the airspace and proposed development has been critiqued by the college and neighbouring residents, who founded the Committee for a Greater Shepparton. During public consultation on the issue, 706 of 733 submissions were opposed to the proposal.

A decision on this contentious issue will be made at Council’s June meeting, which started at 3pm on Tuesday.
