FUTURE NRG began addressing the lacking wholistic energy offering solutions across the Goulburn Valley 10 years ago, and since has opened branches in Echuca and more recently Greater Geelong and the Surf Coast.
As well as schools, dairy farms, engineering organisations, prisons, hospitals and general residential projects locally, Future NRG has been involved in some newer and larger residential developments at Northquarter (300-400 sites) and Edgewater (150 sites), where the developers have implemented energy efficiency measures through collaboration with Future NRG before turning the first sod.
Future NRG director, Graeme Lamb said, “We currently have 19 staff across our three sites and we are quite pleased with how Echuca has been travelling over the past four years and our newest addition at Geelong almost 12 months ago is doing very well.
“When we started the brand, there was an increase in people becoming more energy savvy and being able to bring that country service style offering, coupled with the know-how and expertise you would get from a metro service, has served us quite well.
“What we have been seeing is that the younger generation is more tied into the environmental impact and as we move forward people are getting smarter and more engaged, so are asking for more from their products. There is some really good technology that helps with energy synergies in the home. Business needs to be led by what you think is right and be outcome-focused to get the best outcome for your customer.
“We are embedded in the local community. We contribute to local sporting clubs and events with SAM and MOVE. We are also in preliminary discussions on a project that will help contribute to assisting with the homelessness crisis in the region.
