THE partnership between Kyabram District League (KDL) and local radio broadcaster, 98.5 One FM, has been renewed for the remainder of the 2022 season.

The deal will include The Apprenticeship Factory KDL Preview Show, hosted by Jason Welsh and Sam Saracino, Weekly Match Day broadcasts during the remainder of the Home and Away Season, and the 2022 Finals Series.

Fraser Kerrins, The Apprenticeship Factory KDL league president, said that the decision to increase the partnership with One FM was an opportunity too good to refuse, especially coming out of a couple of really challenging years due to the pandemic.

“The ability to showcase a Senior Football Match from our competition each week, whilst also getting to promote our League and Clubs can only continue to benefit our League as a whole. One FM is an important asset to our local community, and we are happy to partner with them to provide content that is Live and Local,” said Fraser.

This renewed partnership will see local football return to One FM for the first time in 2022, after a 30-year history of broadcasting local football competitions throughout the Goulburn Valley.

The Apprenticeship Factory KDL and One FM and their partners say they continue to work on the development of a Livestream Broadcast offering for the future that will supplement, rather than replace, radio coverage.
