GOULBURN Valley Writers Group’s (GVWG) famed Elle Jaye Farren has fair welled the 2023 year with the launch of her seventh book, Lemon in a Glass, at GVWG’s Christmas break up. A work of poems that features Elle’s illustrations to complement her beautiful words.
“Elle Jaye Farren views the world in a quaint, consistently spirited tone using the light and shade of wonder to shape the rhythm and form of her poems,” said former GVWG sectary Helene Castles.
“There is a trace of whimsy in her words, shown in the illustrated character sketches that often accompany Elle’s writing.”
The self-published author joined the GVWG in October 2003, after attending the County Festival of Writing where she met Bev Crudden, who invited her to a GVWG meeting. Elle soon found her writing voice amongst a group of like-minded friends.
