THE power of community has once again shone brightly, with the teams at Hunters and Lindsay Rural rallying together for the Do It For Dolly Day fundraiser in extraordinary fashion.
Raising more than $34,000 at the time of publication, the local campaign was one of the largest nationally.
“Speak even if your voice shakes” “you are never alone” and “be kind” are key messages of the “Do It For Dolly” campaign.

Amy “Dolly” Everett was a victim of relentless bullying online and in person and sadly was just 14 when she took her own life.
Dolly’s Dream was founded to prevent the same happening to other children across Australia.
There was an overwhelming response in the communities Hunters and Lindsay Rural serve, including sporting clubs, families, customers, suppliers, staff and individuals, all determined to stand together against bullying and support the important work of the Dolly’s Dream foundation.
Every push-up completed, donation made and message shared helped spark important conversations around kindness, resilience and mental health.
“This year’s Do It For Dolly fundraiser with Hunters and Lindsay Rural highlighted the strength we have in our regional communities and our willingness to unite behind a cause that impacts so many Australians, young and old” said Daniel O’Brien, Operations Manager at Hunters.
“Creating a safe environment and doing what’s right, whether it be in or out of the workplace, is everybody’s responsibility and Do It For Dolly Day really brings this to the forefront of our minds.”
Lindsay Rural and Hunters are focused on “connecting communities” and are incredibly proud of leading a campaign that not only raised vital funds for the Do It For Dolly Foundation, but also inspired meaningful community connection, conversations and awareness.
