The Melbourne Chamber Orchestra (MCO) is set to perform “Homeland!”, a program featuring string quartet masterpieces, including Haydn’s “Sunrise” and Dvorák’s beloved string quartets. A highlight of the event will be the world premiere of a string quartet by Noongar violist and composer Aaron Wyatt, a tribute to his ancestral lands.
Riverlinks Manager, Matthew Schroeders, anticipates an “unforgettable experience of classical excellence” and emphasised Riverlinks’ commitment to supporting First Nations composers. The performance promises to blend classical traditions with contemporary Indigenous expression. For more information, visit www.riverlinksvenues.com.au/whats-on.
