The dumping of rubbish has sadly continued around Arcadia Downs, however in this latest rubbish dumping incident, the dumpers may not be the sharpest tools in the shed because amongst the rubbish are letters with their name and their Shepparton home address on them.
This latest dumping involves all sorts of rubbish on the side of Raftery’s track which is off Raftery Road. There is also rubbish being dumped at the end of River Road W which is just past the entrance to Arcadia Downs Drive. Takeaway food boxes, letters with names and addresses clearly legible and alcohol cans are just some of the many items strewn around. This information has been handed to the police so if you or anyone you know are responsible for this mess, best it gets cleaned up quickly before the police come knocking on your door!
If you see or know of people dumping rubbish anywhere in our community, report them to the authorities. The public space belongs to all of us, not just the careless individuals using the beautiful land as a trash can.
