HAVING celebrated its first birthday in November, The Shepparton Art Museum (SAM) has enticed visitors from around the nation to the region, engaging local and international patrons alike in art, culture and conversation.

In 2023, the team at SAM are thrilled to announce a new calendar of exhibitions and programmes that are certain to excite and engage people of all ages and backgrounds, inspiring ideas, forging new connections and providing superb entertainment.

Following a summer of the highly acclaimed travelling exhibition from the National Gallery of Australia entitled Ceremony, a brand-new SAM collection exhibition, entitled, Dance Me to the End of Love, will be on offer, exploring the life cycle from birth to death.

Showcasing ephemeral works as well as including paintings and ceramics from SAM’s extensive collection, the exhibition will reprise the much-loved Sam Jink’s sculpture, Mother and Child.
