KEEP an eye out for the three new service club signs which are erected at distinct locations around town.

Each sign features 16 logos representing service clubs that contribute positively to the Greater Shepparton community.

Greater Shepparton City Council Director Sustainable Development, Geraldine Christou said it is great to see the local service clubs getting the recognition they deserve.

“These clubs are the backbone of our community,” Ms Christou said.

“The old sign on Benalla Road had become a little worn, so I am pleased to see it replaced and the others added in.

“We now have 16 clubs proudly displayed in three spots across the municipality.”

Rotary Club of Shepparton president, Jenny Sim said the club was pleased to be involved in the project.

“The Rotary Club of Shepparton is proud to have been instrumental in working with Council to achieve this positive result for all the service organisations,” Jenny said.

“We thank the council for their support on the project.”
