DESTINATION Goulburn Valley (DGV), previously known as Tourism Greater Shepparton, is an independent advocacy group that is committed to promoting the Goulburn Valley as a premier visitor destination.
DGV, along with its members and partners, has a strong focus on commercial development and growth to maximise the benefits of Victoria’s growing visitor economy. By driving economic prosperity, DGV plays a crucial role in securing a bright future for the region.
DGV is excited to announce the appointment of Eugenie Stragalinos as Director and Board Chair and Vicki Scott as Executive Officer.
Eugenie Stragalinos is Founder and Principal of emsConsulting and the board chair of Goulburn Murray Credit Union. Holding a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a CPA, she is an experienced consultant and executive, working with boards and executive teams to develop and execute strategy and organisational change.
The DGV Board are also pleased to welcome Vicki Scott as executive officer.
Vicki is a respected community leader in the region who possesses a diverse range of skills, including advocacy, leadership, project management, community engagement, strategy implementation, change management, and communications.
With Vicki at the helm, DGV is poised to effectively promote the Goulburn Valley as a desirable destination for visitors, thus driving economic growth and enhancing the region’s wellbeing.
The DGV Board extends their sincere thanks to Alice Tallis for her invaluable support as Interim Chair and for her ongoing commitment as a Board member.
The board would also like to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of Cheryl Hammer, the previous Executive Officer of DGV, who is highly regarded in the community for her professionalism and service.
