ROADWORKS commenced in Nixon Street, between Skene and Corio Streets, Shepparton on Monday, August 1.
Construction is planned to be complete in December, weather permitting. The project will be completed in two stages. Stage one works will occur in the eastern bound lane, causing the north end of Nixon Street to be closed to traffic.
Pedestrian access around Nixon Street and Deakin Reserve will be maintained throughout construction.
These works are required to renew the ageing road and to improve intersection safety for both road users and pedestrians.
Please obey traffic management during the upgrades. Road users may need to seek alternative routes and parking arrangements for the duration of the project.
