With over 19 years of technical experience, Mr Brad Doherty became the managing director of Shepparton Sewing Centre in 2022, a local business which has been operating for over 30 years.
Brad is a sewing machine technician, an area of expertise which has become a rarity, and his wealth of knowledge of sewing machinery lends to his ability to recommend the perfect machine for beginner through to advanced sewers and an offer in-house machine repair service.
“Every day brings a new challenge, and I never stop learning. This is an incredibly rewarding environment, and no two days are ever the same,” said Brad.
Brad has the assistance of the incredibly knowledgeable Sandra and Chris, who are passionate about all things sewing, and pride themselves on their exemplary customer service.
The colourful and neat-as-a-pin store is a sewers dream, which boasts a range of quilting fabrics, top of the range sewing machines from Bernina, Janome, Brother, Pfaff and Juki, sewing lessons and so much more.
“We are grateful for the continued support by long-term and new customers alike and strive to be an establishment where we offer not only a comprehensive product range, but also lend our knowledge, support and expertise to those who visit our store. We truly have some of the nicest customers and it is a joy to help them out every day,” said Brad.
