Playgrounds across Victoria have re-opened for children under 12 with only one parent, guardian or carer present, unless a second parent, guardian or carer is required for children with additional needs. However, outdoor public gym equipment and outdoor skateparks remain closed.

Adults must not remove their masks to eat or drink while at the playground. These rules help to slow the spread of COVID-19 transmission in the community Playgrounds will also have QR codes for checking in. People should check-in everywhere, every time.

Older children or adults can also attend the park for exercise provided it is not in the same space as the playground.
