Purple Lid Bin collection has begun

READY FOR PICK UP... Greater Shepparton City Council reminds residents can check Council's online bin calendar to view the specific dates of their bin collection of the Purple Lid Bin, which began earlier this month. Photo: Supplied

PURPLE Lid Bin – glass only – collection began earlier this month, and Greater Shepparton City Council reminds residents can check Council’s online bin calendar to view the specific dates of their bin collection.

The 120 litre Purple Lid Bin will be used to collect glass bottles and jars, both with and without lids, complimenting the Yellow Lid Bin mixed recycling, and will be collected every four weeks, on the same day as a household’s usual kerbside collection.

There is no service charge this financial year for the new Purple Lid Bin. The service charge will be included in annual rates and charges from 2024/2025, once the Budget is adopted at the June Council meeting.
