Revving up excitement as kart titles thrill Numurkah

ROARING engines and burning rubber took centre stage in an adrenaline-fuelled spectacle as the Goulburn Valley Kart Club in Numurkah, once again unleashed the annual Australasian Kart Titles on the weekend of September 2-3 at the heart-pounding Numurkah Raceway. As the sun shone brightly on Father’s Day, racetrack enthusiasts revelled in the ideal weather conditions, setting the scene for two unforgettable days of high-speed action.

This year’s event boasted an astonishing 12 classes, resulting in a jaw-dropping 48 individual heats and races, featuring over 130 exceptionally skilled drivers. Participants from every corner of Australia descended upon Numurkah, each fuelled by the dream of claiming a piece of the impressive $14,000 cash prize pool.

The stage for this adrenaline-packed showdown was the 541-meter clockwise circuit, where karting aficionados found themselves immersed in a world of exhilaration and drivers pushed the boundaries of speed and precision. The weekend encapsulated the essence of karting: a blend of fun, family, friendship, and fierce competition that left participants and spectators alike with memories to last a lifetime.
