THE spirit of giving came early for the Kialla 1st Scouts and the North Shepparton 1st Scouts with a generous donation from the Freemasons of Shepparton. The donation comes in conjunction with the Freemasons Foundation of Victoria. The Local Lodge raises money every year, then the Foundation comes up with a 4-to-1 matching system for the eligible community group.

The Kialla Scouts brought some much-needed camping gear with their donation. A pair of solar powered lights will help when setting up camp as they usually end up doing so at night. A couple of tarps for floor mats and storage tubs to transport food, the Scouts will be able to cook on their new gas stoves.

The North Shepparton 1st Scouts received a new trailer to make their next trip a lot easier to manage, organise and pack before they load up the Scouts and hit the open road.
