Across a demanding program of solo recitals, the pianists are being judged by an international panel of adjudicators, with performances showcasing technical brilliance, artistic depth and musical interpretation.

But the Award represents more than a competition for its finalists.

Held in Shepparton for almost 35 years, it has established a reputation as an important stepping stone for Australia’s emerging pianists, with past finalists going on to build international careers and receivecritical acclaim.
