AUSTRALIANS have jumped at the opportunity to be part of the nation-wide Million Dollar Vax, with more than 1M entries recorded within the first week.
If you thought it was too good to be true, local woman Forina Bradley of Shepparton is one of the lucky daily winners, winning one of the $1,000 gift cards on offer.
What’s more exciting, Forina is now in the running to win the $1M cash prize, which will be drawn on Friday, November 5.
Forina was one of the first to roll up her sleeve when Pfizer became available for her age group, and she never expected a cash incentive for having done so.
She said, “Winning this money felt like a bonus for doing the right thing and for protecting my community from the spread of coronavirus.”
The campaign has been made possible by a group of philanthropists and corporations who have formed the Million Dollar Vax Alliance, launching the hard-to-resist campaign in order to drive vaccination rates above 80 percent as quickly as possible.
Member of the Alliance, Craig Winkler, commented, “We hope the campaign continues to encourage those who have made the decision to be vaccinated to do so now, rather than delaying and missing out on the chance to win a daily prize and the ultimate prize of $1M”
