
COMING together as one unified school, celebrating the diversity of language and culture in Greater Shepparton, students from the Victorian School of Language performed in an end of year celebration at the Shepparton Secondary College on Saturday, November 19.
With 10 classes each performing in a language of study, including Hindi, Arabic, Punjabi, Malayalam, Mandarin, Albanian, Turkish, Urdu Persian and Sinhalese, students sang and danced in national attire wowing the audience with their enthusiasm, joy and language skills garnered over a year’s worth of Saturday morning study classes.
Hindi teacher, Arunabha Banning said, “The Victorian School of Language’s annual end of year performance is a lovely way for all the students to come together to celebrate our united school of diverse cultures and languages.

“It was extraordinary and wonderful to see the children dressed in national colours, singing, dancing and performing in front of a proud audience of parents, family and friends.”
